NORMY BALIGWAT LARANANG, 43-year-old, married to a 50-year-old security guard, and they were blessed to have 2 children, ages 21 and 16. A resident of Panukan, Davao. She is the fifth child among her 4 brothers and 1 sister. Her 75-year-old father is a farmer and her 70-year-old mother is a housewife.
She accomplished her secondary education at Pantukan National High School in 1998. She then took up a Bachelor of Science in Education at the University of Southwest Philippines and graduated in year 2003.
She was a hands-on mother until she decided to work abroad to help with the finances and education of her children.
She had her maid employment experiences, as follows:
1.SAUDI ARABIA (June 2010 – July 2016), She was selected to serve an Arab family living in a 5-bedroom 3-story house with a couple and 5 children ages 17,16,14,9,4 and a newborn baby. Her employer hired 3 maids. She performed child care, keeping the house clean and doing the laundry.
2.SINGAPORE (June 2023 – Present), She is currently working for a Chinese family living in a 4-room HDB with a couple and their 2 children, 3-year-old and a 10-month-old baby. She managed daily household chores such as keeping the house clean, doing the laundry, ironing, marketing, and cooking
Being a mother of 2 and with her previous experiences, she is confident and capable of taking care of newborn to young children and capable of performing childcare duties such as feeding, bathing, preparing their school things, and playing with the children.
She claims to be confident and good at cooking Chinese and Filipino Dishes. And able to follow recipe books, and enthusiastic about learning other foreign dishes.
Aside from that, she is willing to do gardening, pet care, and car washing if necessary.
