APRELIANE ABATAY GELLANG, 39-year-old, married to a 48-year-old construction worker, and they were blessed to have 3 children, ages 20,18, and 12. A resident of Belison, Antique. She is the eldest child among her 1 brother and 5 sisters. Her mother passed away in 2022, and she lost her father in 2023.
She finished her secondary education at Belison National High School in 2003.
She was a hands-on mother until she decided to work abroad to help with the finances and education of her children.
She was selected to work in Singapore as follows:
1. SINGAPORE (Apr 2022 – Apr 2025) She worked for an Indian family living in a 3-room condominium with a couple and their 2 children. The children's current age are 3-year-old and a 10-month-old baby. She cared for them since they were born. Her main responsibility is taking care of the two children since they were born. She also managed daily household chores such as keeping the house clean, doing the laundry, ironing, marketing, and cooking.
Besides taking care of children from infancy, she is also confident in cooking Indian Dishes and Filipino Dishes. And able to follow recipe books, and enthusiastic about learning more other dishes.
She decided to go home first to attend her children's accomplishment (graduation) before starting new employment in Singapore.
Employment History of the maid from MOM records available for prospective employers' reference and verification. Maids can be interviewed by VDO phone upon request. She can be deployed faster than the rest as she is exempted from training and OWWA seminar, and she only needs to comply with other documentation as required by the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration for the deployment of the OFW.
