ANGELY TABACON DELA CERNA, is 42-year-old, widowed with 2 children ages 18 and 11. A resident of Glan, Sarangani Province. She is the 4th child among 4 brothers and 5 sisters. Her 64-year-old father is a farmer, and her 63-year-old mother is a housewife.
She completed her secondary education Glan School of Arts and Trade in 2000.
She had non-domestic work experience in being a factory worker from 2002-2003 and 2003-2004 and became a security guard from 2004-2005.
Currently, she is looking after her children and doing household chores while waiting for her application in Singapore to be selected.
She had her domestic work employment experiences abroad, as follows.
1.KUWAIT (2016 – 2021) She was selected to serve a Kuwaiti family living in a 2 bedroom 2-storey house with a couple with their 3 young children ages 15,12 and 9. The couple has 2 other children who are married and lives separately. Her employer hired 2 maids, and she was assigned to maintain the cleanliness of the house, do the laundry and iron clothes and sometimes cooking. She also assists the needs of the children.
2.KUWAIT (2022 – 2024), She was selected again to serve a Kuwaiti family living in a 10-bedroom 3-storey house with a 70-year-old male elder who is mobile, 3 adult children, one of whom has special needs. Her employer hired 2 maids. She was responsible in assisting the needs of the 25-year-old daughter with special needs and accompanying her to therapy. She also performs house chores such as cleaning, doing the laundry, ironing, and cooking.
Being a mother, she is confident in looking after newborn to young children as she is confident in performing its basic duties such as preparing meals, feeding, bathing, changing clothes, and including educational activities and supervision.
With her 7 years of experience, she is proficient in doing household chores such as cleaning, washing clothes, cooking, dish washing, doing the laundry, and ironing.
She also claims to be good in cooking simple Arab dishes while excellent in Filipino dishes and is still willing to learn more about other foreign cuisines if given the opportunity.
Aside from these, she is willing to do gardening, pet care and car washing, if needed.
This applicant can be deployed sooner as she is exempted from training seminar, and she only needs to comply with other documentation as required by the Philippines Overseas Employment Administration for the deployment of OFW.
