MICHELLE BASINO BAGOPORO, 45-year-old, married but no longer living together since 2007. They were blessed to have 2 children, ages 23 and 18. A resident of Iriga City, Camarines Sur. She is the 2nd child among her 1 brother and 4 sisters. Her 67-year-old father works as a retired welder while her mother passed away in 2010.
She completed her secondary education at Simeon Tyangco Memorial High School in 1996. Then she took up a degree in Education but was not able to complete the course due to family’s financial difficulty.
Before her domestic work experience, she worked as a factory worker from 2004-2013.
Currently, she is on vacation in Singapore and at the same time looking for opportunity to find a new employer while waiting for her application to be selected in Singapore:
She had her maid employment experiences as follows.
1.UAE (2014- 2016), She was selected to serve a Palestinian family living in a 2-bedroom condominium with a couple and 3 children ages 4,2 and newborn baby. She was an all-around helper, she managed daily household tasks including cleaning, laundry,ironing, and assist madam in cooking. She also cared for the children’s daily needs.
2. SINGAPORE (Dec 2016 – May 2018), She was selected to work for a Chinese family living in a 7-room apartment with an elderly couple in their 60’s and both mobile, 3 adult and 3 children ages 10,6 and 2. Her employer hired 2 maids, and she was tasked to keep the house clean and do the laundry and iron clothes. She also brings and fetches the children to and from school and other tasked that her employer may instruct her to do.
3. SINGAPORE (May 2018 - Dec 2021), She was selected to work for Chinese-Singaporean family living in a 3-room condominium with a couple, and an 84 year old male elder who is still mobile but would still need assistance in his daily activities including accompanying him to the doctor’s appointment and monitoring his medication. She also performed all house chores and cooking and marketing.
4. SINGAPORE (Dec 2021 – Jan 2023), She was selected to work for another Chinese family living in a 3-room condominium with a couple, and 2 children ages 10 and 4. She cared for the children and performed general household chores.
Being a mother of 2 and with her experiences, she is confident and capable of taking care of young children and capable of performing childcare duties such as feeding, bathing, preparing their school things, and playing with the children.
She claims to be excellent in cooking in Chinese and Filipino Dishes . Able to follow recipe book and still enthusiastic to lean other foreign dishes.
Employment History of the maid from MOM records available for prospective employer’s reference and verification. Maids can be interviewed by phone upon request.
