DIVINA LUMACDAY SOLIVA, 33-year-old, single mother with 2 children ages 15 and 10. A resident of Cambulaga, Sorsogon City. She is the 6th child among her 4 brothers and 3 sisters. Her 70-year-old father is a farmer and her 68-year-old mother is a housewife.
She accomplished her secondary education at San Emilio Academy in 2007. She also took up a vocational course in Silk Screen Printing.
Currently, she is working as a supervisor in one of the leading malls since Mar 202,3 and she was assigned in the food court, and while waiting for her application to be selected in Singapore:
She had her maid employment experiences as follows.
1. SINGAPORE (Dec 2015 – Apr 2016), She served a Chinese-Singaporean family living in a 4-room HDB with a couple and 2 children ages 8 and 7. She was an all-around helper, performing daily household chores like keeping the house clean and doing laundry, cooking. And above all, she looks after the children’s daily needs.
2.SINGAPORE (Apr 2016 – Apr 2018), She served a Malaysian - Chinese family living in a 5-room HDB with a couple and a newborn baby. Her main priority is to care for the baby and household chores come second. She finished her contract.
3.KUWAIT (Nov 2018 – Aug 2022), She was selected to work for a Kuwaiti family living in a 5-room 3-storey landed property with basement with a 68-year-old male elder and 4 adults. Her employer hired 3 maids. She was solely responsible for the welfare of the male elder, a retired military man who was injured on duty, his right leg was amputated, which required him to have support,t including companionship and assistance with daily activities. She was also responsible for keeping his room clean, doing his laundry, and cooking for him. She finished her contract.
4.SAUDI ARABIA (Jan 2023 – Jan 2024), She was selected to work for an Arab family living in a 3-bedroom bungalow house with a couple and 5 children ages 15,14,10,8 and 2 years old. She was mainly responsible for attending to the needs of the 8- and 2-year-old and managed daily household tasks including cleaning, cooking, and laundry.
With her 7 years of domestic experience, she is proficient in doing household chores such as cleaning, washing clothes, cooking, dish washing, doing the laundry, and ironing.
She claims to be good in cooking in Filipino and knows simple Chinese and Arab dishes. Able to follow the recipe book and still enthusiastic to learn other foreign dishes.
Employment History of the maid from MOM records available for prospective employer’s reference and verification. Maids can be interviewed by phone upon request. She can be deployed faster than the rest as they are exempted from training and OWWA seminar, and she only needs to comply with other documentation as required by the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration for the deployment of the OFW.
