MARIA CRISTINA PREDA CANAYON, is a 33-year-old, single mother blessed with 3 children ages 14 (twins) and 10. A resident of Sta Elena, Camarines Norte. She is the 5th child among her 1 brother and 4 sisters. Her 75-year-old Father is a farmer and her 70-year-old Mother is a housewife.
She finished her secondary education at Rizal National High School in 2008.
Her maid employment experience as follows;
1. PHILIPPINES (2008 – 2010), She served a Chinese family living in a 5-bedroom 2-storey house with a couple and 4 children ages 21,15,2, and 6-month-old infant. Her employer hired 4 maids and she was responsible for doing the household chores, keeping the house clean, doing the laundry, and cooking. She served the family for 2 years.
2. PHILIPPINES (2011 - 2014), She served a Filipino family living in a bungalow with a couple and 3 children ages 17, 18, and 19. She worked as an all-around housemaid doing general housework and cooking. She served the family for 3 years.
3. MALAYSIA (2017 – 2020), She served a Chinese family living in a 4-bedroom 2-story house with 5 adults. She was an all-around helper, performed all the household duties including marketing and car washing, and cared for 4 dogs. She finished her contract and served the family for 3 years.
4. PHILIPPINES (2020 – 2023), She served a Filipino family living in a 3-bedroom bungalow house with a couple, an 85-year-old female elder, and 2 children ages 17 and 15. Like her other employment, she performed all the household duties including marketing and cooking, and assisted the elderly in her daily needs.
5. SINGAPORE (Aug 2023 – Dec. 2023), She served a Chinese family living in a 3-bedroom HDB with a couple and 3 children ages 17,15 and 13. Her main responsibility is performing all the household duties such as keeping the house clean, doing the laundry and ironing, and cooking.
6. SINGAPORE (Dec. 2023 - present), Serving a Chinese family living in a 4-bedroom HDB with an adult and 85-year-old female elderly. She does the household chores and looks after the elderly with Alzheimer’s disease.
She is can cook Filipino food like adobo, menudo, chopsuey, kare kare and caldereta and more. She also knows simple Chinese dishes like stirred fried veggies, lotus soup, herbal soup, and steamed fish. She is still willing to learn more about other foreign cuisine if given the opportunity.
She is also willing to do gardening, pet care, and car washing if necessary.
Employment History of the maid from MOM records is available for the prospective employer's reference and verification. Maids can be interviewed in person upon request.
