ELSA BUCAO SERRANA, is 42-year-old, single mother of a 23-year-old and a resident of San Fabian, Pangasinan. She is the 3rd child among her 2 brother and 4 sisters. Her 70-year-old Mother is a retired teacher and her father are already passed away.
She finished her secondary education at San Fabian National High School in year 2000. Then she took up a vocational course in Care Giving at International Management School Singapore in year 2023.
She had her domestic work employment experience in the following countries;
1. SINGAPORE (Oct. 2014 – Dec. 2015) she served a Malay Singaporean family living in a 6-bedroom landed property with a couple and 3 children ages 18, 16, 12. She worked as an all-around helper doing household chores, cooking and car washing. She is also assisting the children needs. She served the family for 1 year and 2 months.
2. SINGAPORE (Dec. 2015 – Dec. 2017), she transfers to a Singaporean family living in a 5-bedroom landed property with a couple and 2 children ages 21 and 18. She worked as an all-around housemaid doing household chores, cooking, marketing, car washing and taking care of a dog. She finished her contract and served the family for 2 years.
3. SINGAPORE (Oct. 2018 – Dec. 2021), she served another Singaporean family living in a 2-bedroom condominium with a couple and a 16-year-old. She worked as an all-around helper doing all general housework, cooking, marketing, do the laundry and ironing of clothes, car washing and taking care of a dog. She served the family for 3 years and 2 months.
4. SINGAPORE (Dec. 2021 – May 2024), she served a Chinese family living in a 5-bedroom landed property with a couple and 2 children ages 16 and 9. She worked as an all-around helper doing the housework, cooking, marketing and taking care of a dog. She is also assisting the needs of the children. She served the family for 2 years and 5 months.
With her experience as a housemaid in Singapore. She is expected to be well-versed in performing general household duties such as maintaining the cleanliness of the house, doing the laundry, pressing clothes, marketing, cooking and washing the dishes.
As a mother, she is capable of looking after newborn to young children and confident in performing child care duties such as feeding, bathing, preparing their school things, playing with the children, giving assistance for their homework and studies and bringing and fetching them to the school.
She is open with the opportunity in looking after elderly person and prepared to be trained in the giving them direct nursing care and supervising their other needs.
She knows how to prepare and cook Filipino and simple Chinese dishes and she is enthusiastic to learn more especially in cooking other foreign cuisine.
Aside from these duties, she can also give care for pets. She is willing to do basic gardening and car washing as well.
Employment History of the maid from MOM records available for prospective employer’s reference and verification. Maids can be interviewed by phone upon request. She can be deployed faster than the rest as they are exempted from training and OWWA seminar and she only needs to comply with other documentation as required by Philippine Overseas Employment Administration for the deployment of the OFW.
