APRIL YAMYAMIN BALATERO, is 37-year-old, married to a 36 year old driver and they were blessed with 2 kids ages 9 and 5. A resident of Tangub City, Misamis Occidental. She is the 4th child among 2 brothers and 2 sisters. Her 73 year old Father works as a farmer and her 70 year old Mother is a housewife.
She completed her secondary education Tangub City National High School in year 2008. She then took up a 2 year course in Computer Secretarial but she wasn’t able to complete the course due to family’s financial difficulty.
Previously worked as a factory worker for 1 year and a saleslady for 2 years.
Currently, she is applying for work while waiting for her application to be selected.
She had her domestic work employment experiences, as follows:
1. KUWAIT (May 2016 – June 2018) she served a Kuwaiti family living in a 4-bedroom 2 storey house with 4 adult, a 65 year old female elder and 2 children ages 12 and 8. Her employer hired 2 maids. Her responsibility was to look after the children and keep the house clean and in order and doing the laundry. She finished her contract and served the family for 2 years.
2. OMAN ( May 2021 – June 2023) she served an Omani family living in a 3 bedroom 2 storey house with a couple and 4 children 24,23,15 and 5. She was assigned to perform cleaning the house and doing the laundry and pressing clothes and she also assist her madam in cooking. She also cared for the children. She served the family for 2 years.
This applicant is recommended for a family who is in need of someone who is capable of looking after newborn to young children. She is confident enough in performing child care duties such as preparing meals, feeding, bathing and attending to their needs.
With her experience in taking care of an elder she is keen if given the opportunity.
She is also proficient in doing household chores such as cleaning, washing clothes, ironing clothes, cooking and dish washing.
She can cook simple dishes like Filipino dishes such as adobo, sinigang, pancit, tinola, humba and she is still willing to learn more other foreign dishes.
This applicant can be deployed faster than the rest as they are exempted from training seminar, and she only needs to comply with other documentation as required by the Philippines Overseas Employment Administration for the deployment of OFW.
