ARLYN CABUNILAS BUTLIG, 41 year old, married to a 39 year old laborer and they were blessed to have a 14 year old daughter. A resident of Butuan City, Agusan Del Norte. She is the 3rd child among 3 brothers and 2 sisters. Both of her parent’s has already passed away.
She completed her secondary education at San Francisco College in year 2003.
Previously, she worked as a factory worker for 2 years.
Currently, she is looking after her daughter and doing household chores while waiting for her application to be selected.
She had her maid employment experiences, as follows:
1) KUWAIT (Aug. 2011 - May 2014), she served a Kuwaiti family living in a 3 bedroom apartment with a couple and a newborn baby. She worked as an all- around housemaid doing all general housework such as maintaining the cleanliness of the house, washing and ironing of clothes, and washing the dishes and other house errands as instructed by her employer and other family members. She is also responsible looking after the daily needs of the baby. She finished her contract and served the family for 3 years and 9 months.
2) QATAR (Feb. 2015 - Feb. 2017), she served a Qatari family living in a 6 bedroom mansion with a couple and 2 children ages 1 year old and a newborn baby. She was an all around helper doing household chores such as cleaning, do the laundry and ironing, washing dishes and taking care of the daily needs of the children. She finished contract and served the family for 2 years.
3). SINGAPORE (Mar 2019 – May 2021) she was selected to served an Indian - Vegetarian family living in an 3 bedroom HDB with a couple and a 3 year old child. She was an all around helper and performs household duties and cared for the child. She finished her contract and served the family for 2 years and 2 months.
4). SINGAPORE (June 2021 – Feb 2022) she served another Indian family living in an 2 bedroom condo with a couple and a newborn baby in Nov of 2021. Same as her previous employment, she was responsible in taking care of the baby and at the same time she performed household chores. She served the family for 8 months.
With her years experience as a housemaid, she is expected to be well-versed in performing general household duties such as keeping the house clean, doing the laundry and ironing of clothes, marketing and cooking.
As a mother and with her experience , she is confident of taking care of newborn to young children and capable in performing child care duties such as feeding, bathing, preparing their school things, playing with the children, giving assistance for their homework and studies and bringing and fetching them to the school if needed.
She is also open with the opportunity in looking after elderly person and prepared to be trained in the giving them direct nursing care and supervising their other needs.
She knows how to prepare and cook Filipino dishes such as sinigang, nilaga, pakbet, tinola, adobo and a lot more and can follow recipe book. She is still enthusiastic to learn more especially in cooking other foreign cuisine.
Aside from these duties, she is willing to do basic gardening and car washing as well.
Employment History of the maid from MOM records available for prospective employer’s reference and verification. Maids can be interviewed by phone upon request. She can be deployed faster than the rest as they are exempted from training and OWWA seminar and she only needs to comply with other documentation as required by Philippine Overseas Employment Administration for the deployment of the OFW.
