MARILYN SALTAT FORTES, is a 39-year-old, married to a 40-year-old and they were blessed with 2 children ages 15 and 9. A resident of Aringay La Union. She is the youngest child among 2 brothers and 5 sisters. Her parents are already passed away.
She finished her secondary education at Tubao National High School in year 1999.
Previously, she work as a Factory worker in Taiwan from 2015 -2017.
Currently, she is working as a Cashier in gasoline station.
She had her maid employment experienced in the Philippines and in Singapore.
1. Philippines (2000 - 2003), she served a Filipino family living in a 3-bedroom bungalow with a couple and a 9-year-old. She worked as an all-around helper doing housework, cooking and other house errands as instructed by her employer and other family member. She served the family for 3 years.
2. Singapore (July 2010 – July 2011), she served a Chinese family living in a 8 bedroom 3 story house with a couple elderly ages 60 and 62 and 2 young adult ages 23 and 18. She worked as an all around helper doing household chores, cooking and taking care of the 62 female elderly with cervix cancer. She served the family for 1 year.
With her experience as a housemaid in the Philippines and in Singapore. She is expected to be well-versed in performing general household duties such as maintaining the cleanliness of the house, doing the laundry, pressing clothes, marketing, cooking and washing the dishes.
As a mother, she is confident of taking care of young children and capable in performing child care duties such as feeding, bathing, preparing their school things, playing with the children, giving assistance for their homework and studies and bringing and fetching them to the school.
She is open with the opportunity in looking after elderly person and prepared to be trained in the giving them direct nursing care and supervising their other needs.
She knows how to prepare and cook Filipino dishes like sinigang na baboy, adobo, nilaga, paksiw, pakbet and a lot more. And she is enthusiastic to learn more especially in cooking other foreign cuisine.
Aside from these duties, she can also give care for pets.
Employment History of the maid from MOM records available for prospective employer’s reference and verification. Maids can be interviewed by phone upon request. She can be deployed faster than the rest as they are exempted from training and OWWA seminar and she only needs to comply with other documentation as required by Philippine Overseas Employment Administration for the deployment of the OFW.
