CHERRY ANDAYA VEÑEGAS, 39-year-old, single mother of 6 children ages 15, 13, 12, 10, 8 and 7. A resident of Pagbilao, Quezon. Her 79-year-old Father is a Farmer and her 74-year-old Mother is a housewife. She is the 7th child among her 4 brothers and 3 sisters.
She finished her secondary education at Talipan National High School in year 1999. Then she took up a 2 year course in Computer Secretarial but did not manage to finished due financial problem. She studied until 1st year college. She is also took up a vocational course in Housekeeping.
She experienced to work a non-domestic work such as being a market vendor for 2 years and a sales lady for 1 year.
And she also had her maid employment experienced as follows:
1. DUBAI (June 2019 – Aug. 2021) she was selected to work for an Arab family living in a 7-bedroom 2 storey house with a couple, 2 elderly ages 70’s and a newborn baby in Sept. 2020. She worked as an all-around housemaid doing household chores such as maintaining the cleanliness of the house, washing the clothes and ironing, cooking and washing the dishes. She also attends to the needs of the baby. She finished her contract and served the family for 2 years and 2 months.
Being a mother of 6, she is confident and capable in taking care infant to young children and capable in performing child care duties such as feeding, bathing, preparing their school things, playing with the children, giving assistance to their homework and studies and bringing and fetching them to school.
She is also open with the opportunity in looking after elderly person and prepared to be trained in giving them direct nursing care and supervising their other needs.
She has knowledge in preparing and cooking Filipino dishes like adobo, sinigang na baboy, nilaga, afritada, menudo and a lot more. She is also willing to learn other foreign dishes if given the chance.
Aside from those duties, she is also willing to do gardening, car washing and care for pets when necessary.
After selection, FDW will undergo 3 weeks In-House- Private Training in Manila (Accredited by TESDA), OWWA seminar and other documentation as required by Philippines Overseas Employment Administration for the deployment of the OFW.
