MARISSA NADAL ABEL, is 23-year-old, married to a 37 year old farmer and they were blessed with a 3 -year-old daughter. A resident of Penablanca, Cagayan. She is the eldest child among 2 brothers. Her 48-year-old Father is a farmer and her 45 year old Mother is a housewife.
She accomplished her secondary education at Penablanca East National High School in year 2006. Then she took up a degree in Business Administration, studied until 3rd year college but did not manage to finished due financial problem.
She experienced working several jobs such as saleslady for 4 months, a factory worker for 6 months.
She had her maid employment experience in the PHILIPPINES, as follows:
2018-2019, she served a Relative's family living in a 2 bedroom bungalow house, with a couple and 2 children with ages 8 and 3. She worked as an all around housemaid such as cleaning the house, doing the laundry, pressing clothes, cooking and washing the dishes.
Being a mother, she is also confident in performing basic child infant care duties like bathing, preparing food, feeding, changing of clothes and diaper and also playing with the children as she was the one who looked after her own child.
She also experienced taking care of her 60 year old grandparents, both with hypertension. She cared for them for 12 years until both of them passed away. She was responsible in assisting them in their daily activities such as giving their medicines. She is open with the opportunity in looking after elderly person and prepared to be trained in giving them direct nursing care and supervision their other needs.
She has knowledge in cooking Filipino dishes such as adobo, caldereta, pakbet, igado, nilaga, sinigang and a lot more and she is eager to learn other foreign dishes.
Aside from these, she is also willing to do basic gardening, pet care and car washing if necessary.
After selection, FDW will undergo 3 weeks In-House- Private Training in Manila (Accredited by TESDA), OWWA seminar and other documentation as required by Philippines Overseas Employment Administration for the deployment of the OFW
