GERALDINE LAROYA FLORES, is 27-year-old, single with a common law partner and they are blessed with 3 children ages 10, 5 and 2-year-old. A resident of Bauang, La Union. Her 63-year-old Father is a farmer and her 62-year-old Mother is a housewife. She is the youngest child among 1 brother and 1 sister.
She accomplished her secondary education at Don Eulogio De Guzman Memorial National High School graduated in year 2010. She also pursued her college education took up Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering but was not able to complete due to family's financial difficulty.
She experienced working as a saleslady for 2 years.
Then she had her maid employment experienced in the PHILIPPINES, as follow;
1. 2011 – 2012, she was hired by a Filipino Family living in a 4-bedroom bungalow house with an adult, a 60 year old female elder and a 14 year old. She is the 2nd maid. Her main duty is to do the laundry and iron clothes, cleaning the house and cooking. She served the family for 1 year.
2. 2013 – 2014, she was hired by another Filipino Family living in a 3-bedroom bungalow house with 3 adult. She was an all around housemaid doing general house hold chores. She served the family for 1 year.
3. 2016 – 2018, she was hired again by another Filipino Family living in a 2-bedroom apartment with 3 adult. She was an all around housemaid doing general house hold chores, carwashing and cared for 2 dogs. She served the family for 2 years.
During her employment, she performed household chores such as cleaning the house, doing the laundry, pressing clothes, marketing, cooking, washing the dishes.
Being a mother of 3, she is confident in performing basic infant and child care duties like bathing, preparing food, feeding, changing of clothes and diaper and also playing with the children.
She is also open with the opportunity in looking after elderly person and prepared to be trained in giving them direct nursing care and supervision their other needs.
She has knowledge in cooking Filipino dishes such as adobo, sinigang, mechado, dinuguan, apritada and a lot more and she is eager to learn other foreign dishes.
Aside from these, she is also willing to do basic gardening, pet care and car washing if necessary.
After selection, FDW will undergo 3 weeks In-House- Private Training in Manila (Accredited by TESDA), OWWA seminar and other documentation as required by Philippines Overseas Employment Administration for the deployment of the OFW
