RONA ACOSTA DE PERALTA, is 31 year old, single and a resident of Salcedo Ilocos Sur. Her 74 year old father is a farmer while her 65 year old mother is a housewife. She has 5 brothers and 2 sisters and her being the 5th child.
She finished her secondary education at Salcedo National High School in year 2008. Then she took up a degree in Education but did not manage to finished due financial problem.
She applied for work abroad as domestic worker in SINGAPORE; Details of her employment as follows;
1.) Dec. 2012 – Nov. 2014, she served a Malaysian-Chinese family living in a 3 bedroom HDB with a couple, 2 elderly ages 70 year old (male) and 60 year old (female) and 2 children ages 8 and 3 year old. She served the family for 1 year and 11 months.
2.) Sep. 2015 – May 2016, she served another Malaysian-Chinese family living in 3 bedroom HDB with a couple and a 3 year old child. She served the family for 8 months.
During her employment in SINGAPORE. She performed all kinds of general household chores such as maintaining the cleanliness of the house, doing the laundry and pressing clothes, cooking and washing the dishes.
With her experience in Singapore, she is confident in taking care of young children and capable in performing child care duties such as feeding, bathing, preparing their school things, playing with the children, giving assistance for their homework and studies and bringing and fetching them to there school.
She is open with the opportunity in looking after elderly person and prepared to be trained in giving them direct nursing care and supervising their other needs.
She has knowledge in preparing and cooking Filipino dishes adobo, menudo, sinigang, afritada and paksiw and she also known simple Chinese dishes like steamed fish and chicken, porridge, cucumber soup, stir fry vegges. She is still willing to learn how to cook other foreign dishes.
