CHARY DAGODOG MELECIO, is 33 year old, single and a resident of Bocaue, Bulacan. Her 59 year old Father is no longer working and her 68 year old Mother is a housewife. She has 3 sisters and her being the 2nd child.
She completed her secondary education at Tabon Maximino National High School in year 2000. She also took up Bachelor of Science in Computer Science but did not manage to pursue due to family's financial difficulty.
She applied for work in Qatar as a Private Secretary for 3 years.
After which she applied for work in Saudi Arabia as domestic worker from 2014 up to 2015 which she served an Arab family living in a 5 bedroom 3 storey house with a couple and 4 children ages 14, 10, 9 and 3 year old. She is the 3rd maid of the family. She was tasked to do the general household chores. She served the family for 1 year and went home.
In 2016, she again tried her luck abroad and was selected to work in Oman, she served an Arab family living in a 4 bedroom 2 storey house with a couple and 4 children ages 19, 15, 10 and 3 year old. She worked as an all around housemaid doing household chores and attended to the needs of the children. She finished her contract in 2018 served the family for 2 years.
During her employments in Saudi Arabia and Oman she performed general household chores such as cleaning and keeping the house in order, laundry and pressing of clothes, cooking and washing the dishes.
She is also capable in taking care of young children and capable in performing child care duties such as feeding, bathing, preparing their school things, playing with the children, giving assistance to their homework and studies and bringing and fetching them to school.
She also experienced taking care of her 80 year old grandmother with hypertension. She is responsible in feeding, bathing, changing clothes and giving medicines. She is keen to look after an elderly person.
In terms of cooking, she has knowledge in preparing and cooking Filipino dishes like adobo, sinigang, nilaga, fried fish and pakbet. She also learned basic Arab dishes such as beryani rice, saluna, salata, mashboosh, marag and a lot more. She is also willing to learn other foreign dishes if given the chance.
Aside from those duties she is also willing to do gardening, car washing and care for pets when necessary.
After selection, FDW will undergo 3 weeks In-House- Private Training in Manila (Accredited by TESDA) , OWWA seminar and other documentation as required by Philipine Overseas Employment Administration for the deployment of the OFW.
