EMILY SUMAGANG ATES, is 34 year old, single with a common law partner and they were blessed to have a 3 year old child. A resident of Siquijor, Siquijor. She is the 5th child among her 3 brothers and 2 sister. Her 67 year old Father works as a farmer and her 65 year old Mother is housewife.
She accomplished her secondary education at Ponong High School in year 2002. Then she enrolled in a 2 year course in Computer Secretarial at Quezon Memorial Institute graduated year 2007. She also took up a vocational course in Caregiving at TESDA in year 2009.
Then she applied for work abroad and had her domestic worker employment experience in SINGAPORE having served 4 families; Details as follows;
1) Sept. 2009 - May 2010, served a Chinese family living in a 3 bedroom HDB with 2 adult and a 78 year old female elder with diabetes. She worked as an all around helper and was also responsible in assisting the needs of the elder and she also cared for 1 dog. She served the family for 8 months.
2) May 2010 - May 2013, transferred to another Chinese family living in a 3 bedroom HDB with an adult and a 78 year old elder. Same as her 1st employment she cared for the elder and 1 dog. She finished her contract and served the family for 3 years.
3) Sept. 2013 - July 2015, she was selected by a Singaporean-Malaysian family living in a 4 bedroom flat with a couple, 2 elder ages 88 and 82 year old and a 6 year old. She took care of the child and does the house chores. She served the family for 1 year and 10 months.
4) Mar. 2017 - Jan. 2019, she was re-hired by her 3rd employer, Singaporean-Malaysian family with the same job scope and responsibility. She served the family for 1 year and 10 months.
During her employment in Singapore, she performed all kinds of general household chores such as cleaning the house, doing the laundry, pressing clothes, marketing, cooking and washing the dishes.
Being a mother and with her experience, she is capable in taking care of infant to young children and attending for their needs such as feeding, bathing, preparing their school thing, playing with the children, sending and fetching them to and from the school.
She is keen to look after elderly person if given a chance and willing to be trained in giving direct nursing care.
She has knowledge in cooking Filipino cuisines like pork and adobo, ginisang monggo, sinigang and has also learned simple Chinese cuisine like stir fry veggies, fried rice, steam fish, chicken curry and a lot more. She is also eager to learn more foreign cuisines.
Aside from these, she is still willing to do basic gardening, pet care and car washing if necessary.
Employment History of the maid from MOM records available for prospective employer's reference and verification. She can be deployed faster than the rest as they are exempted from training and OWWA seminar and will only comply with the POEA processing for Filipino Household Service worker for Overseas.
